Legendary strategic shooter Radiant Silvergun is now available on Nintendo Switch worldwide. The game first appeared in arcades in 1998 and on the Sega Saturn. The game’s soundtrack is composed by the acclaimed Hitoshi Sakimoto 9 (Final Fantasy Tactics, Dragon Quest VI, Tactics Ogre).
Gamers can enjoy 5 levels of difficulty settings and unique game system that strategically captures by making full use of 8 weapons. Story mode newly added from the arcade version and an online ranking where you can compete with rivals around the world for scores.
Radiant Silvergun also includes an Ikaruga mode where players can enjoy the game rules of the shooting game “Ikaruga” released as the second “ProjectRS”.
The story is set after July 14, 2520 AD. A “stone-like object” excavated from the strata of B.C. enveloped the earth with the light it emitted, destroying the human race. Four crew members of the space cruiser “Tetra” and one robonoid were left behind.
Now, The Tetra, which had been waiting for its chance from orbit, finally runs out of supplies and is forced to re-enter the atmosphere, and the battle for human survival begins.
